Apollo is the god of the sun, music, poetry, medicine, and archery. He is also the god of truth and prophecy, healing, plague, and intellectual pursuits.
Emblems
One of Apollo's most known emblems is the lyre. When Hermes stole 50 of Apollo's cattle, Apollo was furious when he found out who stole them. So when Apollo found Hermes, he saw that he had a lyre and offered to trade the cattle for Hermes' lyre. Other emblems of Apollo is the sun, anything associated with the sun, a bow and arrows, the raven, and a branch of laurel (tree).
